The Comic Monstore was established in May of 2003 and is located very near I-85 and the Magic Mart shopping center.  This location is bigger & better than our previous store and we are excited to see so many new faces stopping by to check us out.  In addition to our move, 2007 has turned out to be a very eventful year for us.  The first Comics & Toys MonsterCon was a huge success and we are making plans for MonsterCon 2008.  Anyone interested in helping us turn the MonsterCon into NC's best "SUPERNATURAL, SCI-FI, SUPERHERO SHOW", please contact us.

The Comic Monstore carries a large variety of collectibles, comics, games and toys.  Employees of The Comic Monstore are fans of Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, Thundercats, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Buffy The Vampire Hunter, superheroes (of course), and nearly anything else sci-fi, horror or fantasy related.

We support gaming products by Wizards Of The Coast, Upper Deck, WizKids, Decipher, Twilight Creations and just about anything else that catches our eye.  Most evenings, you can find people looking to play games or just hanging around and talking about the hottest gaming or comic book gossip.

New comic books arrive every Wednesday and we do offer "Subscription Boxes".  If you reserve 5 or more monthly titles, you will receive a 10% discount on all new comic books.  If you subscribe to at least 20 monthly titles, you will receive a 15% discount.  We also have a large selection of $1.00 back issue comics.

Another cool thing about The Comic Monstore is that we have many DVD's available to rent.  We carry movies that we consider classics, such as "Mystery Men" & "Young Frankenstein".  You can also find TV series like, "Farscape", "Stargate SG-1", "Smallville", "Battlestar Galactica" along with many of the most recent hot titles at very affordable rental prices.  Most movies are $1 for 4 nights.  New movies arrive every Tuesday.
